EMPOWERMENT SCHOLARSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT

The Thread: Empowerment Scholarship brought to you by The Distinct Ink, a women-owned and operated local business that believes in the power of women leadership within the Wichita community and beyond.

Together, The Thread & The Distinct Ink are inviting women in leadership to apply for the Empowerment Scholarship. The Empowerment Scholarship will be awarded to an individual who demonstrates leadership abilities, creates positive change in the community, and challenges the status quo. The Thread aims to bring women together by providing the opportunity to facilitate conversations around inclusive leadership and beyond. 

The winner of the scholarship will be chosen by the team at The Distinct Ink and offered a spot in the 2021 pilot cohort of The Thread.

Contest Rules

1. Submit your application on thethreadwlc.com by February 15th, 2021 making sure to check the “yes” box, indicating that you are applying for the scholarship.

2. Email your one-page essay (approximately 300 words) to us at audra@thethreadwlc.com

3. Like and follow The Thread on Instagram and Facebook, share the scholarship post on at least one of those platforms, plus tag someone in the comments who is deserving! 

4. Like and follow The Distinct Ink on Facebook and Instagram.

Entries open from December 10th, 2020 through February 15th, 2021. The winner will be chosen and notified before March 1st, 2021.
